Chaimis

Story

The legend has it that when a distressed human pours a cup of tea, a Chaimi is born. Chaimis are guardian angels that are born from tea to help humans with their stress and anxiety. Chaimis are human sized but only can show themselves to humans in dreams or if the Chaimi really trusts the human. Each Chaimi takes on traits of their blend.

Relationships

Chaimis live in their own societies and can form romantic relationships. Married or committed Chaimis swap the ornament on their collar with their partner to show a symbol of eternal love. Chaimis of any gender have children by harvesting the ingredients from their tails and brewing tea with it. Chaimis can form romantic bonds with humans as well but it is uncommon for this to happen. If they decide to abandon live as a Chaimi they must break their charm and live life in the human world.

Collar

Every Chaimi has a collar somewhere on their body with a small glass ornament with some brewed tea in it. Chaimis in committed / life-long relationships swap charms with each other and hold each other's brew on their collar instead. They rarely appear without their collar during the day.

Tails

Chaimis have teabags hanging from their tail. They are very proud of their tails and blends and decorate them with charms and decorations that resemble their blends. Their tails can withstand high temperatures and can brew tea by dipping them in. They get new teabags every time they help their human. These teabags can be harvested when desired.

Litteas

Litteas

Chaimis, being magical creatures, evolved with the times. Litteas are a sub-species of Chaimis that come from experiencing a story while drinking a cup of tea. It’s said that these breed of Chaimis are given life from the imagination of a human. They help quell everyday stress and anxiety similar to standard Chaimis but they primarily are born to help their human reconnect with a childlike sense of wonder and creativity.

Litteas are creatures that are based on stories. Common Litteas are born from drinking tea while its human reads books, Ultra Rare Litteas can be born from their human watching Anime or playing games. Tributes to real life stories are legendary traits, and must be a close tribute and not a direct namedrop / copyright.

She quickly found herself lost along the way,
Learning how to work, forgetting how to play.
She once lived in a fantasy, but it is forever now on hold,
She stopped being creative just as she was told.
But there still was a spark inside her that nothing else could quell,
She found herself suppressing it, drowning it out as well.
But one day that little shimmer stared to shine through, As she watched a movie, while she waited for tea to brew.
Rekindled with a passion, she began to draw like before,
And her Littea watched over her, lonely nevermore.

Stories

Litteas have a unique story they are born from. This can be something of their human's creation or a show that their human was watching.  Legendary traits are required to make real world tributes/ parodies. Their stories impact their design as they are decorated with merch.

Origami

Each Littea is born with a origami charm of any shape using the material that made their story. The origami is made up of a certain kind of material based on the story they were born from. This can be placed on any part of the body and be any shape. This object is exchanged with their life partner similar to Chaimi collars. Common Litteas can have one origami charm but rarer Litteas can have more.

Ita Bag Tails + Plushies

Littea's tails have glass segments throughout their tail showing their brewed tea inside. Within their tails they store various merch items from their story similar to an Ita Bag. Bookmarks hang down with various patterns or designs.
Litteas hold plushies in their ears that represent key parts of their story. These plushies can be removed. It is said that hugging their plushies is how Litteas comfort themselves.

Genre & Material

Litteas have material that are given to them by their story and depending on their rarity that impacts what their origami charm looks like. They also are given a genre that indicates what kind of story the Littea is from and their appearance reflects their genre accordingly

Tealacups

Tealacups

Tealacups are teacups with faces and tea tags for legs and doilies for their handles. They are fey that live in the forest that sneak into peoples' houses to steal their tea. Some kids like to capture them and keep them as pets but they are menaces to house and explode into glitter when they're angry.

This was an April Fool's joke but the only fool was me for thinking it was a one-time mention.

Lattears

Lattears

On a rare occasion, Chaimis feel that Coffee can better express who they are. These Chaimis consume potions that turn them into Coffee-based Chaimis. These Chaimis are good at helping their human be productive and focused. They have a variety of personalities but they are usually high strung and anxious which sometimes can impact their human negatively. Lattears are only made using a potion and cannot be born through natural means. In Teacup, Latters are well-respected due to their special positive effects on humans.
NOTE: All legendary Chaimi traits are available to use for Lattears. Existing Chaimis can become lattears with the use of a potion and their kemonomimi must stay the same regardless of whether it is on the list of not!
