You may have noticed the site now will prompt you for your birthday, this is due to an update in the Lorekeeper framework that our site runs on. It's there to check that you are 13 or older, and is only used to verify that you are legally allowed to create an account to access the site. It's now a built in check for this part of the Terms of Service:

CHILDREN

This service is offered and made available only to users of 13  years or older (13 in the US, or 13 to 16 depending upon your country). By creating  an account, using this service, or attempting to use this service you are agreeing that you are at least the minimum required age. If any account is found to be used or opperated by a user under the minimum legal age of their country to access this website, the account may be terminated without notice.

Why is there an age limit? The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), passed in 1998, restricts websites from tracking data on children under 13. In order to use logged in services this site tracks data such as user IP. Full disclosure of tracked data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Used for login ID, Not displayed to other users, all e-mail correspondence is via a secure automailer (no_reply@chaimi.art). The only time you'll recieve an e-mail from a different email@chaimi.art is in reply to e-mails you send to them first.

Birthday

Your birthday is only collected to verify that you are legally allowed to create an account and access this service as defined by The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), passed in 1998. It will never be shared with other users.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
