"They certainly know how to draw a crowd." Helios peeked through the curtains examining the crowd. Even though he and Luna did this kind of thing all the time the nervousness from performing never seemed to go away. Would people be excited? Would they have fun? Or would everything just crash and burn like a nightmare? Sure, they were only the opening act this time around, but expecting the unexpected was a fact of life.

"It's a celebration with multiple performers. Is it that surprising?" Luna responded not bringing her eyes away from making sure she looked presentable. Helios knew even now her mind was probably elsewhere.

"Not surprising exactly... but we're really going to have to blow them away if we want to stand out."

Luna looked up, "This isn't a competition this time."

"Only in name, Lulu."

Luna rolled her eyes but stiffened as soon as they were called onto standby. Competition or not they still had to do their absolute best didn't they? To make sure everyone enjoyed themselves, and to make sure the people who came to see them would be satisfied.
